Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a project take?

Most small business applications take 2–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. A focused MVP — booking form, admin dashboard, payment integration — is typically 2–3 weeks. More complex systems with multiple integrations or AI features run 4–8 weeks. We'll agree on a timeline before any work begins.

How much does it cost?

We work on fixed-scope engagements, not hourly rates — so you know the total before we start. Most small business projects fall in the $5,000–$25,000 range depending on complexity. Simple automation tools can be less; full SaaS products with billing, auth, and dashboards will be more. We'll give you a clear number after a free scoping call, with no obligation.

What do you actually build?

Web applications, internal tools, SaaS products, and automation workflows for small businesses. Examples include custom booking systems, client portals, inventory dashboards, AI-powered document processors, payment and invoicing tools, and CRM integrations. If your business is doing something manually in spreadsheets or email that should be automated, that's our sweet spot.

Do you build for crypto and web3?

Yes — it is one of our deepest areas of expertise. We have built production systems for crypto trading infrastructure, tokenization platforms, and DeFi protocol integrations. This covers order management and execution systems, on-chain/off-chain data pipelines, wallet integrations, smart contract interfaces, and regulatory-aware custody workflows. If you are building in web3 and need engineers who understand both the technical stack and the market structure, that is a strong fit.

Can you build market making and trading systems?

Yes. We have hands-on experience building algorithmic trading infrastructure — quote generation engines, order book management, risk controls, position tracking, and exchange connectivity for both CEX and DEX venues. We understand the latency, reliability, and risk management requirements that separate a production trading system from a prototype. If you are running a market making operation or launching a trading desk and need bespoke tooling, we can scope it.

What is your experience with tokenization?

We have built tokenization infrastructure for real-world assets (RWA) including equity, debt instruments, and fund structures. This covers smart contract design, cap table management, investor onboarding (KYC/AML), transfer agent logic, and secondary market readiness. We work with EVM-compatible chains and permissioned networks. If you are tokenizing an asset and need a compliant, production-grade issuance platform, that is exactly the kind of project we take on.

Can you build stablecoin treasury and margin lending systems?

Yes. We have direct experience with stablecoin treasury management systems — collateral monitoring, peg defense tooling, reserve dashboards, and yield optimization workflows. On the lending side, we have built margin lending platforms with real-time collateral valuation, liquidation engines, interest accrual, and borrower dashboards. These are high-stakes systems where correctness and auditability matter as much as performance — we treat them accordingly.

Do you handle DeFi integrations and on-chain data?

Yes. We build systems that interact with DeFi protocols — liquidity pool integrations, yield aggregators, on-chain analytics pipelines, and cross-chain bridge interfaces. We are comfortable with Ethers.js, The Graph, RPC node management, and event indexing. We can also build the off-chain infrastructure — dashboards, reporting, reconciliation tools — that makes on-chain activity legible to your ops and compliance teams.

Do I need to know how to code?

Not at all. We handle everything technical — architecture, development, hosting, and deployment. What we need from you is a clear understanding of the problem you're trying to solve and how your team currently operates. The best clients know their business well, even if they've never written a line of code.

Will I own the source code?

Yes. Full IP transfer is included in every engagement. When the project is complete, you own the code outright. We'll also set up your own GitHub repository and cloud accounts so there's no lock-in to us — you can take the code to any developer for future work.

How does the process work?

Four steps: Scope (free 30-min call to understand your needs) → Spec (we write a concise spec doc for your sign-off, no surprises) → Build (weekly check-ins, live preview throughout) → Launch (we deploy, hand off credentials, and walk you through everything). Most clients are surprised how smooth it is when the spec is solid.

Do you provide support after launch?

Yes. We offer optional monthly maintenance plans covering hosting management, dependency updates, bug fixes, and small change requests. We'll also make sure you can handle content and configuration changes yourself if needed. Larger changes can be scoped as a new project.

What makes you different from a typical dev agency?

We build AI-first and serverless-first — which means faster delivery and dramatically lower ongoing infrastructure costs. We use platforms like Cloudflare, Vercel, and Neon that have generous free tiers, so many clients pay under $20/month to run their software. We also keep our client list small, so you work directly with us — not handed off to a junior contractor.

Can you integrate with my existing tools?

Yes. We integrate with most common business tools — Stripe, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Shopify, Twilio, and more. If your business already runs on a platform with an API, we can build on top of it rather than replacing it. We'll tell you honestly in the scoping call if something isn't feasible.

What's the smallest project you'll take on?

There's no minimum. If you have a focused problem — automate this one thing, build this one form, connect these two systems — we'll scope it. Small, well-defined projects often deliver the best ROI. We'd rather do a $3,000 project that solves a real problem than pad scope to hit a number.

Do you take equity instead of cash?

Yes. For early-stage founders, we're open to structuring compensation as cash, equity, or a combination. If you're pre-revenue or capital-constrained but have a compelling idea, we'd rather find a structure that works than lose the opportunity to build something great together. Bring it up on the first call and we'll figure out what makes sense.
